Welcome to the Fort Eustis Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) website. We have completed the planning process and are working on transitioning to implementation.

8.21.2018 //  York County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted the Fort Eustis JLUS final report!

8.20.2018 //  York County Board of Supervisors will consider a resolution to endorse the Fort Eustis JLUS

on August 21, 2018.

 

7.10.2018 //   James City County Board of Supervisors adopted the Fort Eustis JLUS.

4.24.2018 // Newport News City Council adopted the Fort Eustis JLUS..

4.3.2018 // The Newport News City Council is scheduled to discuss and take action on the JLUS on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 7:00pm at the City Council Chambers. More details on the location and how to download the final report can be found under the Get Involved tab.

2.19.2018 // The comment period for the draft report has come to a close. Thank you for taking the time to review the document and participating in this very important process.  Check back soon for the final report!

2.8.2018 // Don't forget to review the JLUS report. Comments are due February 19th!!

1.19.2018 // The 30-day review period begins January 19th for the draft JLUS report. Be sure to review the draft and provide your comments by going to the Documents tab.

1.19.2018 // The workshop at the Denbigh Community Center has been rescheduled for January 29th .Go to the Get Involved tab for more information.

1.17.2018 // The city of Newport News has cancelled the community workshop that was scheduled for tonight (January 17) 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Denbigh Community Center due to inclement weather forecasts. The meeting will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

1.16.2018 // The final workshops are this week!  Be sure to add them to your calendar and attend.  The information can be found under the Get Involved tab. Check back at the end of the week to download the draft report for review.

10.09.2017 // The results are in!  See what you and your neighbors had to say in the community survey.  The results are posted under the Documents tab.
